I have received the ID letter, but I have not received the letter requiring signature and photo for several months.

My son and I applied for carte Vitale. We have received a number, but we have not received a letter asking me to sign or post a photo. It has been several months and carte Vitale has not been available.

The processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

If your social security number is not certified yet, you won't receive the application form for carte Vitale and you do not access your ameli account yet. It can take some time for the certification.
