Registration micro-enterprise - Ameli

Since my move to France and registrarion of my Micro-enterprise in January, I received a letter from Urssaf with a social security number. Ameli followed up with another letter requesting documents. The social security numbers did not match so I called Ameli. Ameli confirmed both numbers were not visible in their system and I should submit the application form with the necessary documents to my local CPAM. I have done this 6 weeks ago with letter recommandée. The letter was received with signature on the 18th of February.

A phonecall with the English advise line of Ameli confirmed still nothing was visible in their system.
Who should I contact and what is going wrong?

Firstly, I can confirm that the numbers initially assigned by Urssaf, which contain several zeros, are not official social security numbers. They are used only for administrative purposes within the organisation.

As for the number provided by your CPAM, it may simply be a reference number. However, for confidentiality reasons, we do not have access to insured persons’ files on the forum, so I am unable to check this information.

I recommend that you contact your CPAM again, either on the French or English helpline. If necessary, the advisor can submit a request to the back office department : How to call the French Health Insurance Advice Lines?

I have already called multiple times and they just say nothing is visible, should I specifically ask to send a message to the back office?
Is there a difference between calling CPAM and Ameli?
How long should the process take? I have submitted my documents 6 weeks ago already

The processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM). I am unable to tell you how long it will take your CPAM to process your registration as a self-employed person.

CPAM and ameli are the same organisation.

I suggest you contact CPAM again and ask them to follow up with the back-office department to find out the status of your application.
