Reimbursement of medicine

You must first check with the CPAM the effective date of your coverage. For example, if the effective date is March 10th, you can only claim reimbursements for care received on or after March 10th.

For eligible care, the doctor and pharmacy should have provided you with a "feuille de soins." You must complete these and send them to the CPAM for reimbursement. If they haven't given you anything, contact them again to obtain them. Note that for pharmacy form, you must include the prescription.

Also note that the CPAM does not refund everything, but 70% for doctor's visits (with a €2 deductible) and 0% 15%, 35%, or 65% for medications (with a €1 deductible per each box of medication). For the remaining costs, you will need supplemental health insurance (or the CSS).
