How to change my postal address ?

You can do it on a computer or via the app on a smartphone or tablet, under the "Vos informations" section.

You can also do it from the section "Démarches > Déclarer un changement d’adresse" and follow the instructions.

You will receive a notification on your ameli account once your request has been processed (the average processing time for this changement is 2 weeks). You will be able to check this update in the section "Vos informations" of your ameli account.

Make sure that you notified your top-up insurance of your new address.

If your moving house makes you change your bank agency, ensure that the relevé d'identité bancaire (RIB) registered on your file is still compliant.

If your situation does not allow you to do this online, please send by regular post to the CPAM currently handling your file, a copy of your identification (ID or passport) and a letter explaining you have moved and including your name, social security number and new address.

If you are in a specific status like passport talent holder, employed as an "au pair" or language assistant, covered with a S1 form, the process online will not be successful and you must contact your CPAM to inform about your moving.

Notice that if you permanently leave France, you must inform your CPAM by completing and sending them the form S1105 "déclaration de transfert de résidence hors de France".
