When do I get my health insurance card please?

As mentioned in this topic entitled: "How to order my carte Vitale ?", the time required to receive your carte Vitale is about 6 weeks after your order form has been received.

If this deadline is expired, I suggest you contact an advisor to track your carte Vitale request.

During this phone call, the advisor will also be able to give you a temporary password to access your ameli account.

I would also like to point out that only the caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM) in selected departments allow "feuille de soins" (brown papers issued by a doctor only) to be submitted via your ameli account.

If your "feuilles de soins" cannot be sent via your ameli account, you will need to send them by post to your CPAM, accompanied by the prescription if the treatment is reimbursable on prescription.
