Pays conventionnels pour l'assurance

Is it possible to communicate in English on this forum?

I have the following question:
I moved from the Netherlands to France in March. I have an S1 form and all the necessary documents to register for conventional insurance with the Netherlands, but because of the corona virus I cannot go to Ameli Carpentras. Can I register digitally by e-mail if I send all my documents and my S1 form to Ameli by e-mail in order to be able to obtain a Carte Vital? I'm afraid I won't be insured now if I need medical care.

I received a response from Lorraine, but tried to ask her an other question. But, as far as I can see it is impossible to correspond with her???

My situation has not changed, is there a possibility to send my S1 form and supporting documentation via e-mail or service mail to Ameli? Because I have health problems, it dangers for me to travel and have contact with other peoples, because of the Corona Virus.

Hello Le Chat,

We don't have any email address to provide you.

Due to the current situation, the English speaking line is not available. If your situation is really urgent, I advise you to contact the French line (by dialing 36 46) with the help of a friend if you don't speak french.

Postal services are still working, CPAM is still working on documents sent by the post. Processing time can be longer than usual due to the situation. You can find the mailing address of your CPAM entering your zip code on this link :  "Adresses et contacts".

Have a nice day.

As far as I understand you are always insured. You just have to pay it yourself and get it back when you have your card.
I am trying to reach the English speaking helpdesk already for day's. In Roxanes answer I see that it is not availeble on the moment. Sadly that fact is not advertised. Not on the website or the phone. Well, those people must be really busy on the moment.

How do you ask a question on this forum? I cannot find anywhere on here which lets you ask a question? Maybe I’ve missed something?
My Carte Vitale is not working and I would like to know how to unblock it or apply for a new one as I’ve moved house. I can’t do this on the Ameli as it says I’ve entered the wrong details ( I haven’t) please help.

Hello PetitPois,

Because of safety and confidentiality issues, we can’t reach any of your information or file from this forum.

Therefore, I advise you to contact the CPAM’s English speaking line which number can be found in this topic: How to call the French Health Insurance Advice Lines?

Have a nice day
