Problem while logging in ameli account

In February 2020, I created my account in https://etudiant-etranger.ameli.fr webiste and I saved the credentials in my computer so I was always logged in and there I have uploaded all my documents and in March 17th I got the notification that my final health insurance affiliation certificate is now available. It can be downloaded in my personal space.

But in my account (which was always logged in), it appears there is no certificate available. Today, from another browser when I tried to log in using that email address and chose 'Forgot Password' option, it didn't send any reset code in my email. May be it means accidentally my email address was not activated or I don't know what is it may be that's why my account doesn't show the update (My certificate). But it's sure that on that account I have uploaded all my documents and I got notification as well that my certificate is ready.

But now I can not access it. And when I tried to log in using the main website ameli.fr, it asks for 13 digits security code which I have not recived (may be my account was not activated that's why I didn't get that code). And I need that certificate badly so I would humbly request you for your suggestion If you could tell me how can I activate my email or whatever the problem is and finally how can I retrieve the certificate which is available for me.

**NOTE: The email address I used to create my ameli account was email from my research lab, to ask I am using this email.

Social security number is 13 digits + 2 digits key.

When the social security number starts by 7 or 8, it means that it's a temporary one. You only can open an ameli account (the account you tried to log in from the main website ameli.fr) with a permanent social security number (starting by 1 or 2).

Unfortunately, because of some safety and confidentiality issues, we can’t reach any of your information or file from this forum.

Due to the current situation, the English speaking line is not available. If your situation is really urgent, I advise you to contact the French line (by dialing 36 46) with the help of a friend.

Thank you very much for your advice and clarification.

Few more points to be clarified to see If I understood you correctly:

1. As I got the notification in my email that my certificate is ready to download, it means that my account is activated, right? But then what can be the reason that when I try to log in from another browser, it says I don't have an account on that email!

2. In https://etudiant-etranger.ameli.fr, Once I can access my temporary certificate there I will get my 13+2 digits temporary code and later on that same student space I will get my permanent certificate and using that permanent social security number I can access ameli.fr main website, am I right?

3. If I get my temporary social security number, where can I use that? Can I use that certificate for my VISA extension? Or for official work I will must need the permanent social security certificate.

4. I will try to call at 36 46 by the help of anyone French but I am afraid whether they will agree to talk about my file with someone else or not. In that case, I am thinking to drop a mail by post stating my situation as it is important. In this situation, will my postal mail be checked at this moment? Or anything related to post will be only accessible when situation will get normal?

Hello Zakia Khatun,

1. Yes, it means that your file has been processed and your temporary number has been created but as we can't reach your file i'm not able to check the reason why you can't log in. I recommend you to try to connect from the same browser.

2. You will be able to find your temporary number on your certificate. You will receive a letter in order to create your ameli account when your permanent number will be created.

3. A temporary social security number gives you the same rights that a permanent one. The only difference is that you can't order a Vitale card or open an ameli account for the moment.

Your certificate with your temporary number  is a proof that you are covered under french healthcare, you can provide it to your employer, for visa extension...

4. French helpline is aware that the English speaking line is not available, you can call with the help of a friend.

Postal services are still working, CPAM is still working on documents sent by the post. Processing time can be longer than usual due to the situation.

Thank you madame..long time i used my ameli account online.but from last month i cant log into my id online.when i wants to log in my id then they tell me ( YOU ARE AFFILIATED WITH SEVERAL ID) but the problem is,i have only one id.i never used several id.that things i dont understand
