If you are a seconded employee in France of a company located in the United States, your employer will keep you covered by the American social security system.

As regards your health care in France, you must submit any claims for reimbursement to the insurance that your employer has taken out for you.

There is no arrangement either in the Franco-American social security agreement or in French legislation that allows the cost of care related to childbirth to be covered by France for a person under the American scheme (whatever her nationality). 

You should contact the organisation that provides your maternity cover in the United States to find out how your childbirth will be covered in France.

If your insurance does not cover the costs, you will have to pay them yourself.
