How to register my baby's birth?

If your baby was born in France and is declared at your city hall, you will need to register his/her birth to your CPAM, either:

•    through your ameli account under the section “Mes démarches” > “Déclaration du nouveau-né” if you use the app or if you use the web version, it will be under the section "Démarches > Modifier vos informations personnelles > Déclarer une naissance." This will allow you to register your baby on the other parent’s file.

•    by mail, after filling out the S3705 form (“Application to add minor children to one or both parents’ insurance accounts”).
