Question en attente de réponse

Regarding Temporary Social Security Number

I applied for my temporary social security number in France on September 25 and submitted all required documents. On October 7, I received a notification asking me to resubmit my birth certificate with both the original and translated versions. I complied immediately.

As of today, October 25, I have not received any response. While all my documents show as validated, my birth certificate is still marked as "sent," and my application status remains "sent."

One of my friends faced a similar issue and received their temporary number within an hour of resubmission. However, it has now been 18 days since I submitted my birth certificate, and I am concerned about the delay.

I would appreciate any guidance on how to expedite this process or understand the next steps I should take.

How i contact them. Can i visit their local office or call them but when i call them they are not response it likes it set up in machine reply.

I invite you to call your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM) as explained in my last answer. You can not visit an agency without appointment.

The line can be busy due to a lot of calls, I invite you to try later, in the morning if possible from 8:30.

Have a nice day.

Can you please help me in any other way. Please.

Hello KABYO,

As Géraldine told you, because of safety and confidentiality issues, we can’t reach any of your information or file from this forum.

The processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

I invite you to try again and contact the english speaking line. Even if it can be difficult to reach due to excessive amount of calls, counselors answers calls.

Have a nice day

when i call in their english helpline they ask about SSN number or tracking number how i get this .Because after this thry automatic cut the call

KABYO,

It is not mandatory to have a social security number when you call our helplines.

If the operator needs to contact your local CPAM, he will give you a tracking number.

However, depending on your request, there's no need to get a tracking number.

Regarding the fact the call is diconnected, it must be a malfunction. To reach the english speaking line directly, please dial this number : 09 74 75 36 46.

Have a nice day.
