[Urgent] No approval of documents/response on mail for temporary social security number.

I am an international student in France. I had registered for social security over two months ago, but my documents are still under "processing" and I've not received any acknowledgement/mail about this. All documents uploaded by me were correct.

I have been unable to contact anyone on 3646 or the other helplines with English support. I have also tried to visit local CPAM offices but they have stopped me at the entrance saying that I should book an appointment.

I suffered an accident in France and was left without any assistance. I urge you to advise me on further steps.

The helplines in french or in English are quite busy for the moment. I invite you to contact your CPAM office (caisse primaire d'assurance maladie) during low-traffic hours (8.30 to 10 a.m. and 12 noon to 2 p.m.) in order to check on your file.

The processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

I you are not satisfied with the handling of your file, you can lodge a complaint with your health insurance fund. You will find more informations on our website : Réclamation, médiation, voies de recours.
