[ENGLISH] How to set up my Ameli account if my Social security number has a letter in it?

Hello,

I am trying to set up my Ameli account using my social security number as per my pay slip. It is of the form:

x xx xx xx xxx V01

Note that all the x's above are numbers, not letters. When I try to set up my Ameli account, I get an error message saying that my social security number cannot contain any non-numeric characters, which evidently is not my case, as the last 3 digits contain a letter: V01

I have repeatedly tried to contact someone using the hotline, to no avail.

Unfortunately, because of some safety and confidentiality issues, we can’t reach any of your information or file from this forum.

Anyway, if you need help regarding this request, you can contact the CPAM’s English speaking line. You can also contact the French speaking line, dial 36 46.

Social security number is 13 digits + 2 digits key.

Your social security number should contain only numbers.

I have the same problem. My University told me that I need to call Ameli to obtain a permanent social security number. I have tried that for 2 months now, but every time I finally manage to get through and try to explain the issue on the phone, they simply disconnect the call.

Hello madam or sir I tried many times to open ameli account with my social security number. It shows invalid number so I am giving my number here social security [Données masquées]. Where does 13digital number start from this? Please help to open the account. So I am not able to apply vital card. I am waiting for your valuable reply
