Help what is happening with my Carte Vitale application, I’ve been waiting since last October!

I am desperately trying to get help on the progress of my Carte Vitale application which I submitted last October for both myself and my wife. I’ve rung the English speaking helpline and tbh I’ve made little progress. I’m concerned that if we don’t have our cards we won’t be able to get our Covid 19 injections!!

The processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

To contact your CPAM, click on the following link: How to call the French Health Insurance Advice Lines?

Even if you haven't received your carte Vitale, you can have a prescription from a general practitioner in order to get your Covid injection.

Thanks Roxane it’s reassuring to know I will still be able to get my C19 jab. What still worries me though is that CPAM in Nimes asked for a lot of information to process my CV application, I sent this recorded delivery and it was received on the 7th of December but now they are telling me they have not got it. This information contains everything including bank statements, tax returns, passport photo etc in fact everything anyone would need to steal my identity so this worries me greatly. I’ve spoken to the helpline who have emailed CREIC but I’m not hopeful that they will tell me they have found all my information. I desperately need help with this, who else can I turn to?

Hi Roxanne, so just to be clear, a prescription from my GP will be accepted at the point when I go for my Covid injection if my Carte Vitale application has still not been processed? Will I need to take anything else with me?

If you are eligible (compliance with the vaccination schedule, medical reason), then you can be vaccinated, even if you are not registered yet with CPAM.

Can anyone help please, my wife and I are both deemed vulnerable because of our health conditions but as yet we cannot, no matter how hard we try, get an appointment to get our Covid 19 injections? I don’t want to jump any queues but we are extremely concerned that we cannot get an appointment anywhere. Is there any help available to us? Thank you.

How can I get more help with my Carte Vitale application, all I keep getting is letters from l’assurance Maladie saying certain documents are missing (different ones each time) even though these have been sent and signed for three times. I’ve tried the English speaking helpline but I’m getting absolutely nowhere? I need some assistance urgently.
