To submit your documents for a first application, it is not necessary to make an appointment, you can just send them through post or drop them in a box outside a caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM) office in your area.

To find the closest one and contact details on your department, you can check the section "Adresses et contacts" on our ameli website.

If you prefer to meet someone face to face, I advise to call an English speaking operator that will plan the appointment for you.
