I am late for Assurance Maladie (CPAM) registration. What should I do?

I arrived in France 4 months ago but I did not know the CPAM registration was mandatory so I did not complete it. (I am on an Erasmus Master's Programme and I was to return to another country after 5 months so I did not realise this is compulsory) Is it too late now? I registered and submitted my documents recently. Is there any way to process the documents a little faster ?

If you have applied to the website https://etudiant-etranger.ameli.fr/, you simply need to wait for caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM) to update your file and inform you online through your personnel space.

For further information, you can read this article called "The French social security registration process for foreign students" from the ameli website.
