No receipt of Carte Vitalle after receiving social security number 2 months ago

My wife received her social security number in Oct but has not received the form to request the carte vitale itself. How long does this normally take, mine was here soon after i received the social security number

Hello Toffeeman,

The social security number of your wife might not be certified by the system yet.

Indeed, the processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

In this situation, I advise her to call the English hotline. A counsellor will check her file.
