Reimbursement

I went to my dentist and had to pay . I am 100% and this is the first time I have had to pay. The receptionist said the money will be reimbursed straight into my bank account. I am worried as I cannot afford to pay for the treatment. Is this a new procedure

100% ALD is only about a specific illness. So you don’t have to pay first only for the treatment which concern this ALD. For example if you have this for diabete and you go to do your annual check to dentist, it is not specifically about diabete. So it is out of the 100%.

If you have a 100% about « invalidité » then it is about everything (except pharmacy) BUT doctors can ask you to pay first. It is not an obligation for invalidité.

Plus some doctors and specially dentist ask more money that the price of security social. Then you have to ask your complementary to refund you if it is in your contract.

To finish, it is possible that you will not be refunded for that because you probably have some « franchise » and « participation forfaitaire » for all the time you didn’t pay first which must be taken.
