newborn outside france but european national

Hello
i work in france and my daughter born just 2 month ago she is a portuguse national by birth , and now she is with me in france ,i live in le teich , and i applied her soicail security no on behalf of my self , i just want to know how many days it required to send her no because i need it in hospitals or for madical check-up, i applied last month at 15 of july but still didnt get any response from CPAM what should i need to do ?
2nd can i use my vital card for my daughter madical expense until unless she did not received her number

The processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

If you need help regarding your request, you can contact the CPAM’s English or French Advice Lines.

While waiting for your daughter's social security number to be issued, you can not use your personal carte Vitale for her medical expenses, but you can keep the "feuilles de soins" the doctors will give you and once she will be attached to your file, you will be able to send them to your CPAM.
