What is the process for obtaining a social security number as non-student, foreign born (EU)?

Regarding your affiliation to the French health care sytem, it will depend on your country and from the amount of your bonus.

In fonction of your compensation, a deductible contribution is applied. One allows you to be covered by a local "caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM)" in France and the other one means you stay covered through your italian health care system.
