how can I add my partner on my Carte Vitale

I am Dutch and I arrived in France in 2023 as a retiree and registered with the French Assurance Maladie. I received my Carte Vitale in 2023.
In 2024 my partner joined me in France and now he is also registered in the French system. However, my Carte Vitale only shows my name not my partners name. I think that I am supposed to update my Carte Vitale to add his name, but I have no clue how to do this. And I wonder if my partner can receive his own personal Carte Vitale because we travel a lot separately.

If your partner is already registered, and he is affiliated as your dependent (because you provided a S1 form for him as a "Member of the family"), in that case, he appears as your dependent under your file but he has to receive his own carte Vitale.

If so, in order to register him on your carte Vitale, you have to update your card at the pharmacy. His name won't be on your physical card but his information will be registered on your file.
