Carte Vitale - EDF contract, do I still need 3 months?

Hello

I've tried twice to get my CV but without success, I want to get it right this time.
My birth certificate is a UK one from 1986 - do I need this transcribed? And do I need the new version or will the old version suffice?

Hello Kirsty,

If you have received a letter from your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM), you should have the information regarding the documents needed according to your file.

If you haven't received a reply from your CPAM since you sent your applications, I would advise you to read this topic regarding the documents required for the immatriculation to the French health care system.

You can also contact the CPAM’s English speaking line. To do so, dial 0 811 36 36 46 (from France) or +33 811 36 36 46 (from abroad).

Have a nice day

Hi Sophie

I havent sent the documents yet, this is why I'm asking. I dont have a numero sociale either, this is my matriculation. I;ve already tried twice, and both times the docs were sent back due to something being missing (both times, nothing was missing) so I want to make sure I get it right this time.

My HR department says that I dont need to transcribe the birth certificate, some sites say I do. I would rather not do this if I dont have to because it's expensive and I'm not being paid yet. It seems to differ from place to place.

Any advice appreciated - the advice I'm finding online is conflicting.

Hello Kirsty,

The documents required are listed in the topic I posted on friday.

You don't have to provide any official translation for the following languages: english, german, spanish, italian, portuguese, dutch, polish, romanian, swedish, albanian, hungarian, slovak, czechoslovakian and turkish.

Have a good day
