Cette question a été résolue

My partner & I want to start a chambre d'hotes - one will be an auto-entrepreneur, can the other self-insure privately?

We simply want to know how the insure ourselves the best? Two of us being auto-entrepreneurs for one "mission" is seemingly not allowed, but creating a company just for the sake of a chambre d'hotes seems overly complicated. Can one of us simply get private insurance? What are the options? Thanks in advance!

Hello Pipo,

If you rent out chambres d'hôtes you should be registered with your local Chambre de commerce (CCI) or Centre de formalités des entreprises (CFE).

To know more about the documents you need to provide in order to obtain your social security number, I advise you to read this following topic on ameli.fr named "How to be covered if I am self-employed ?

For the one of you who doesn't have a job, he or she can apply to the french healthcare system providing the documents corresponding to his/her situation.

Find out more information in the following topics according to your situation :

- How to be covered if I am not working and I am a non-European citizen ?

- How to be covered if I am not working and I am a European citizen ?

- How to be covered if I am a retired European citizen ?

Have a nice day.
