I am a French citizen born in South Africa. I have never lived in France and have no French social security number. I am planning to move to France next month and I will register as an auto-entrepreneur. ! want to confirm that I will be eligible for IVF coverage (prise en charge AMP/PMA) once registered with CPAM. I am 40 years old.

Specific questions:

Does auto-entrepreneur registration give immediate CPAM affiliation?
Once affiliated, is IVF (FIV) covered at 100% for up to 4 cycles?
What is the age cutoff for egg retrieval and embryo transfer?
How long after affiliation can I begin the IVF authorisation process (demande d'entente préalable)?
Is there any minimum residency period before IVF is covered, or is it available as soon as CPAM rights are open?

I arrived in France in 2025 with my wife.

We have tried to have the social security number but continuously failed.

We need the numbers very urgently, because my wife is pregnant and is going to deliver the baby in a few months.

Thus, we need the social number (and Cart Vitale) as soon as possible to refund all the payments we have made and to get the support for our baby.

Bonjour,
Je suis un parcours de pma depuis novembre 2024.
Depuis tout ce temps je posais mes CP pour mes rdv ors que cet après midi après mon rdv j'ai appris que j'avais droit à des autorisations comme un CP
Quand j'ai appelé le service rh, elle m'a dit que c'est comme pour les femmes enceintes c'est 1 jrs par mois alors l'article n'a jamais précisé que c'était 1 jrs.
Je voulais savoir si je pouvais faire une demande pour remettre le compteur à jour concernant mes congés.
Je souhaite aussi avoir la confirmation que ce n'est pas 1 Jr par mois mais plus en fonction des obligations.
