I am separated from my husband who does not live in France and is not part of the application. I am known under my married name in official documents - so this is different to the name on my birth certificate. Is it advisable to provide a certified copy of the marriage certificate along with my birth certificate in the application?

Hello,

I hold a Passeport Talent — Personne de Renommée Internationale. My husband accompanied me on a Family passport talent; he was listed as my financial guarantor in my visa application and is self-employed. I'm here to carry on an independent artistic research.

As an independent contractor, he has no fixed employment contract or pay slips. He sells digital courses online, provides remote consulting services, and teaches in person at various training centres. His income is variable and documented through invoices and bank transfers. His clients are a worldwide French-speaking audience.

Our questions:

1. What documents do I need to register for myself under the Passeport Talent — Personne de Renommée Internationale? In the employment section, I wrote "Artist," but I'm on research, so technically, I'm carrying on the research activities rather than focusing on performing.
2. What documents does my husband need to register independently, given that he has no employment contract or pay slips — only invoices and bank records?
3. Does he need to register with URSSAF / Sécurité sociale des indépendants first, or can he apply to CPAM directly?

Application for Health Insurance Coverage: Egyptian birth certificate - Name Change done in Québec

Hello,

I am registering with the CPAM in Marseille under the Quebec-France social security agreement (no waiting period). I hold a Passeport Talent.

Before leaving Québec, I legally changed my name through the Directeur de l'état civil du Québec and hold an official certificate of name change. The change corrects a transliteration error: my name in Arabic has always been the same, but it was rendered incorrectly in Latin characters on my passport, and my family name was accidentally dropped. I had no time to fix these errors before immigrating to Canada. My Egyptian civil documents, therefore, already reflect the "new" name, as it is simply the correct transliteration of my unchanged Arabic name. My RAMQ attestation (form 2719) is issued under the corrected name. However, my Canadian passport and French visa still show the old (incorrect) transliteration and have not yet been updated.

I also have an Egyptian family record that reflects my new name translated and apostilled.

I read on the forum that I should get a Certificat de concordance from the consulate. I can't get this from the Canadian consulate because I still don't have any ID that bears my "new" name. I have only the certificate!

My questions:
1. Can I register with the CPAM under my new legal name, supported by the Quebec name change certificate, even if my passport shows my old name?
2. Can the translated/apostilled Egyptian family record serve as a civil status document to establish my new name?

I am currently in the process of requesting new copies of the required documents on my end. I would like to kindly ask for clarification on the following points:

1.) Aside from the “filiation dating from less than one year,” does my birth certificate also need to be translated into French?

2.) Regarding the "certification of registration for the current academic year", would the attached document be sufficient? It is called the Enrollment Assessment Form (EAF), which is the official enrollment document issued by my home university in the Philippines.

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on these requirements.

Once again my travel refund has been refused. I have sent written explaination to CPAM in Angouleme together with all documents.
My doctor delayed giving me the travel prescription so I could not apply in advance (he is a busy man!)
I now try to send other documents online but it refuses to accept dates in advance of the travel !

I am planning to move to France next month and I will register as an auto-entrepreneur. ! want to confirm that I will be eligible for IVF coverage (prise en charge AMP/PMA) once registered with CPAM. Hello,

I have recently relocated from India with my family, and going to start registration process with CPAM. I have been informed by my relocation agency that due to recent change in rules, CPAM now requires a birth certificate issued less than a year old. However, my child's birth certificate was issued in June 2022; it has full filiation, a QR code, and has been apostilled as well.

In India, the birth certificate is only issued once and it can be printed multiple times, but there is no way to get it issued with recent date. What is the guidance in this scenario? Is it mandatory for the Indian birth certificate to be less than year old? Or can I apply even with a birth certificate issued in 2022?

Hello,

I have submitted all the required documents for a first-time registration since the beginning of October 2025 (5 months ago), but I still haven't received my temporary Social Security Number. That means I don't have an ameli account, which makes it hard for me to check on the status of my application.

In the meantime, my address has changed.

I am constantly calling the English-speaking line, which informs me that it is out of use with an automated message.

I don't have any other means of contact because I don't speak English.

How could I resolve this issue?

My application status is "abandonné" what does that mean?

At first, I have the website in English it just said that my status is "processing complete". When I read them in English I do not think much about it and thought that I just have to wait for further information, but when I changed the language to French it is "abandonné" and I do not know what that means for my application. I came to France at 18 and applied for my social security number and all. I'm non-EU international student and i had some issues with my file so it took very long to get it completed and finally receiving the social security number. i have certificate of rights and Attestation de droits.

I called the advice line twice to inform the change in my address, and they said it was fine but i still haven't received my card vital. however, all the health insurance mail now come to my new address but if i log in to see my completed file i still see old address and i keep receiving SMS that now i can log in to my ameli account and i tried many times to create account and log in but it says this type of file doesn't allow me for immediate log in and creation of the account. and i did receive mail at my address welcoming me into the postal code XX health insurance and providing certificate of rights HOWEVER it's been a year my card vital hasn't been delivered.

What should i do? my French isn't very good so i always call English advice line, but I don't understand this situation please help me find how can i get my card vital delivered.

During the weekend, I was sick and was able to get a video consultation with a doctor through Mobidoctor, a website connecting me to doctors in the EU. I was at that time at home in France, I was not abroad myself. The doctor was based in Portugal, but the Mobidoctor website is set up in Malta. I was diagnosed with sinusitis (sinusite) and given a prescription for medication, which I took to the local pharmacy here in France. At the pharmacy, the pharmacist said she couldn't submit the ordonnance for reimbursement from social security but gave me a feuille de soins.
My question is, how should I submit the feuille de soins for the prescription and the reimbursement certificate/bill from the video consultation from Mobidoctor to CPAM - the online submission is only for reimbursements while outside of France, while I was actually in France when I did the consultation and filled the prescription. Do I use the online form anyways? Or do I need to send the documents by the post (paper copies)? I don't see my situation reflected in the FAQs.
My mutuelle advised that I need to submit the paperwork to the CPAM before they will look at reimbursing me.
