How to check the status of my application?

Hello,

I have submitted all the required documents for a first-time registration since the beginning of October 2025 (5 months ago), but I still haven't received my temporary Social Security Number. That means I don't have an ameli account, which makes it hard for me to check on the status of my application.

In the meantime, my address has changed.

I am constantly calling the English-speaking line, which informs me that it is out of use with an automated message.

I don't have any other means of contact because I don't speak English.

How could I resolve this issue?

I came to France at 18 and applied for my social security number and all. I'm non-EU international student and i had some issues with my file so it took very long to get it completed and finally receiving the social security number. i have certificate of rights and Attestation de droits.

I called the advice line twice to inform the change in my address, and they said it was fine but i still haven't received my card vital. however, all the health insurance mail now come to my new address but if i log in to see my completed file i still see old address and i keep receiving SMS that now i can log in to my ameli account and i tried many times to create account and log in but it says this type of file doesn't allow me for immediate log in and creation of the account. and i did receive mail at my address welcoming me into the postal code XX health insurance and providing certificate of rights HOWEVER it's been a year my card vital hasn't been delivered.

What should i do? my French isn't very good so i always call English advice line, but I don't understand this situation please help me find how can i get my card vital delivered.

I arrived in France 4 months ago but I did not know the CPAM registration was mandatory so I did not complete it. (I am on an Erasmus Master's Programme and I was to return to another country after 5 months so I did not realise this is compulsory) Is it too late now? I have applied for the Ameli and got a NIA number. But after two reminders, I could not complete my application because I still not yet received my Residence Permit yet and they said "Abandon your application."

I want to ask how to reopen my application so I can submit my Residence Permit as soon as I receive it?

I am an international student from a non-EU country. Over one month ago, I received a notice saying that I had a numéro d'immatriculation (of 15 chiffres). When I tried to use that number to create an account, I received this message: "Votre rattachement à votre caisse d'Assurance Maladie est en cours, vous pourrez bientôt bénéficier de votre compte sur Ameli.fr."

Is this to say that I need to just keep waiting? How will I know when I am able to create an account? Will I receive a number of 13 chiffres?

I am a 2nd year international student studying and living in France. Last year I opened an ameli account, however because I was a minor at the time I did not have time to apply for a residence permit to submit to ameli and so my process was closed. This year I am back on a long-term student visa and I would like to reopen the process. Is there any way I can do this?

I've recently validated my Ameli account and ordered my Carte vitale and CEAM. I have to first names separated by "-" in both my birth cerificate and ID card, and I've been surprised to find out that my Ameli account shows just the first one of them. The weird part is that the Attestation of entitlements that I received before being able to create my account had both first names exactly as they appear in all my documents, and exactly as I typed them in my application. Should I worry about it or is it insignificant?

I have already received my attestation droit and mutuelle, I am married to a French citizen. I applied in May and it still keeps saying that you can't create your account instantly, your account is in process of creation, you will be able to have your account soon.
