Hello Devi,

The birth certificate accepted by the health insurance authority must be in the original language and include an apostille.

The apostille is mandatory and can be obtained from local authorities in your country, or alternatively from Indian embassies or consulates in France.

I wish you a good day.

 <fb20:question-body>

Hello,

I am an international student from India. My birth certificate has an apostille issued on a scanned copy through the Government of India's eSANAD portal. The apostille includes a QR code that allows online verification of its authenticity.

Is this document acceptable for registering for French Social Security, or is an apostille on the original birth certificate required?

Thank you.
