Hello mark32520,

If you noticed an error on the name that appears on your aide médicale de l'État (AME) card, you must inform your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM) for a new card to be issued.

You have to send a cover letter with your name, first name, AME number, describe the error and attach a copy of your passport.

You will find the address of your CPAM in the section "Adresses et contacts" of our ameli.fr website.

Hi Mark, you will have to contact your local CPAM, either by phone or by letter. If you speak French you can call 3646 to begin with.

There is also an English advice line: 09 74 75 36 46 (from France) / 0033 974 75 36 46 (from other countries). Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

I am not sure the operators who answer on the English line have actually access to your dossier, The agents who answer at the 3646 service usually are from the local office and can see what is going on.

can i ask what can i do with my problem in my aide medical card,the name in aide medical and in the passport are different?
