If you have a passeport from an EU (Union européenne) country and do not work, I avise you read this topic entitled: "How to be covered if I am not working and I am a European citizen ?".

Depending on your situation, this topic on family reunification can also provide you with additional information on exemptions from the three-month waiting period.

If you would like more information about your personal situation, you can contact the CPAM’s English speaking line, by dialling 09 74 75 36 46.

The line is open from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thank you for your response. However, I don’t have a talent passeport famille because I have my own EU passport and don’t rely on my husbands visa. Can I still send my application to Paris along with my husband? Or do I need to apply separately?

If your husband is a passport talent holder for his family, I advise you to read this topic called "How to be covered if I am a « Passeport talent » or a « Passeport talent famille » holder ?" that explains what you should do to apply to health insurance.
