Hello, I am have dual citizenship (Austrian/US) but I never lived in Austria to get on their healthplan. Now I live in France with my wife and her parents. I stay at home and take care of her parents because they are older and infirm as well as our dogs and the house while she works. Her job has her traveling 4 days a week out of town and I am the only one left to take care of anything at home. I live in the Ardennes and don't speak French well enough to get a job locally. I am taking lessons but it is taking longer than I would like. I am 52 years old. How can I get a social security number as I need one to be covered by my wife's mutualle insurance?
