If you are not entitled to pension in France, you can apply to health insurance living in France after 3 months. Then you will provide proof of address.

Hello Geraldine - Your answer is extremely helpful. However, how do I provide proof of my retirement in France if I need social insurance number to start retirement. I have never worked in France, hence I do not qualify for a retirement benifit.

Bonjour Marwan,

Ameli account is accessing for insured. To get health insurance, you must provide:

- Form S1106,

- Birth certificate,

- Passeport,

- Proof of you reitrement in France,

- RIB.

You will send the application to your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

You can find your CPAM adress on ameli.fr page "Adresses et contacts".

When you Will be in france, you will have to fill this form

Then you will have to deposit it with the documents required on page 2 to your cpam or by letter or on the website dépôt doc if the département you will live is compatible.

Then you Will have to wait. They will send you your number (maybe you have to wait 3 months, depend on your professional situation)w
