If you and your husband have sent your applications for entitlement in the same envelope, don't worry, the documents will be processed by the caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

Processing times vary according to the type of application and the number of files being processed. To check whether your documents have been received, you can contact the CPAM's English speaking line :
09 74 75 36 45 (from France)
0033974 75 36 46 (form abroad)
The line is open from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m.

As soon as you have the declaration of pregnancy made by your doctor or midwife, this document must be sent by post to your CPAM.

Thank you for your reply. I have already sent the application to the provided address, but I have another question. Since my husband and I arrived together, should we have sent our registration applications in one envelope or separately? Additionally, I didn't know I needed to send a declaration for my pregnancy. What should I do once I have it? How can I confirm that my application has been received, and how long does it take to receive the social security number?
