How do I check on securité social status after applying?

I sent the documents by mail but I did not receive any response.

Where can I check on the status of my application?
And when can I expect my social security number to arrive?

Hello Carol,

No, French Iban is not mandatory, you can use a foreign bank acount but it must be from the single euro payments area (SEPA) zone.

You have the possibilty to provide your husband's bank account only if you apply on residence condition providing:

- copy of your ID,

- procuration with your names, first name, date of birth and address + parental link and signature,

- his RIB,

- his ID.

This procedure has to be renewed every 6 months.
