Hello racco,

Unfortunately, on this forum, we won't be able to give you a specific explanation about using this service "depotdoc" which is a local application. On the home page of this website, You have to put a social security number. That's why, I invite you to contact your local CPAM office on the French line which will be able to help you on this point.

You will find the list of all the required documents on this response named "Register for health insurance".

Merci Sabine,

the reason I was asking was that my wife and daughters were able to upload using depot doc and at the time they did not have a social security number and were given a code to put in this field. May I ask what is the "standard" procedure to obtain a social security number? I would have expected by now this could all be taken care of online. Again, thank you for your help

Hello racco,

Without a social security number, you cannot use "depotdoc". I will advise you to contact your local CPAM in order to obtain their email address.

Otherwise, you can send your request by post.

The CPAM's English line won't be able to give you an email address only the French Advice line.
