Hello,

In order to be covered Under the French Health system, you have to provide proof of Identity :

- the original Birth certificate with the names of your parents,

- a RIB (relevé d'identité bancaire aka the bank details),

- a copy of your passport (a Canadian one) or copy of your Identity card,

You can provide your original Birth certificate from Canada, with a copy of your visa or resident permit, and an official translation into French.

To prove that you are living in France:
• one utility bill, if you work
• or three utility bills for the past three months, if you don't work.

The processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).
