Hello Lisa,

To create an ameli account on your own, you need to have a carte Vitale already and a french bank account registered to your CPAM file.

I have the same issue. I keep getting an error. But have filled in the right information. There's really nothing I do wrong.
In the explanation you also write that one of the things you need is the number of your carte Vitale. But I do not have a carte Vitale, I am trying to open an account, to get a carte Vitale.

And is it possible to enter a foreign bankaccount, since the bank in France is also not really working and after months of waiting I still do not have a French bankaccount.

Hello mahima,

To access the ameli account, a definitive and certified social security number is needed (starting with 1 for men, and 2 for women).

To immediately create an account, you have to fill in:

your name ;
your social security number ;
your postal code ;
the last digits of your bank details :
the serial number of your carte Vitale.

The social security number is 13 digits + 2 digits key. You do not need to use the last 2 digits to create/log into your ameli account.
