Hello Ksenia97,

If you are still studying in France, your social security number and cover don't expire. But the document called "attestation de droits" is valid for a year.

I advise you to contact your CPAM (caisse primaire d'assurance maladie) to ask them for a new "attestation de droits".

Good afternoon. My name is Ksenia. I have been a master since September 2019 in Paris. My temporary number expires in September 2020. In November 2019, I posted all my documents on the website for students, and all my documents except my birth certificate were approved. The certificate is in status has been proceded since Novemeber. I was in the nearest CPAM and was told that they can't help me in any way. Tell me, please, how long will I wait? How can I upgrade at least temporarily for the next year, otherwise I will be completely without insurance? How do I find out if the certificate of birth is accepted or not?

Bonjour Nsidibe,

If you have a permanent social security number (starting with 1 for a man, 2 for a woman) and cannot create your ameli account like this : "la création immédiate du compte ameli", you can also apply through the FranceConnect application with others user's credentials, like tax office for example.
