Hello Mark110660,

For the first question, it's in order to know if you are registered with an health insurrance. So, if you have a "carte Vitale", it means yes.

The private insurance has to appear in front of "Bénéficiez-vous d.une assurance privée contractée en France ou à l’etranger?". This is not for the top up insurance (mutuelle). So you have to say : no.

If I have a carte vitale, is my answer to the first question yes?
Where do I put that I have a top up mutuelle?
I have tried ringing the helpline but can’t get anyone to answer.

The first question is asking you if you are registered to the health system ; the second one: do you have the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) ; and the third: do you have a private insurance in France or abroad?
