The organism Mondassur is a private insurance. It helps you to be covered when you are waiting for a social security number in France or for other personnal reasons. This insurance only, does not open your rights to the French healthcare system.
If you want to be covered and if you are not working, you can apply after 3 months of regular residency in France. If you are working, you can be covered from the beginning date of your work contract.
