No social security number or temporary number

Hi we moved to France as a family from Ireland in 2023 / 2024. My husband is retired ex military and i am not working-stay at home mum. I applied to both CAF and AMELI. I received 2 numbers for both myself and my husband - are these social security numbers just for CAF? Are there seperate numbers I need to get Carte Vitale ? I applied on June last year and have had some correspondence but at a loss as to why I cannot access ameli or where to turn? I called into local office again and they could not help? I have 2 young children, doctors costs building up? I thought that one social security number ? Unsure why we have not been issued a temporary number? Please help
