Hello Mahesh1992,

Unfortunately, because of some safety and confidentiality issues, we can’t reach any of your information or file from this forum.

The processing times vary depending on the type of files and the number of files being processed by your caisse primaire d'assurance maladie (CPAM).

A temporary social security number gives you the same rights that a permanent one. The only difference is that you can't order a Vitale card or open an ameli account for the moment.

Due to the current situation, the English speaking line is not available. You can contact the French line, dial 36 46.

Have a nice day.

Bonjour Mahesh1992,

A temporary social security number doesn't expire. The document you received (attestation de droits) is valid for one year but it doesn't mean that you are not covered anymore.

Your temporary number will be cancelled only when you will get your permanent number.

You can ask a new certificate to your CPAM if the previous one is expired. Due to the current situation, the English speaking line is not available. You can contact the French line, dial 36 46.

Have a nice day.

Hello Mahesh1992,

I advise you to contact the CPAM’s English speaking line. To do so, dial 0 811 36 36 46 (from France) or +33 811 36 36 46 (from abroad).

For your information, the international call prefix or dial out code shown as “+” has to be replaced by figures which are different from the country where you’re located. You can find the list of these codes on the following link: www.indicatifs.fr/code-acces-international

Have a good day
